Project Description
The Project
Designing and developing a responsive website.
The Action Coalition on Human Trafficking Alberta (ACT Alberta) works to increase knowledge and awareness on human trafficking. They provide a variety of services surrounding education, advocacy, agency collaboration and victim assistance, and so their website is an important directory for our province.
Due to the information that ACT Alberta makes readily accessible to Albertans, we kept in mind that they would be continuously updating their website. We set up a Resources area that automatically updates when they add new media releases and reports to save them time going forward.

“Human trafficking occurs throughout the country and within Alberta. ACT Alberta – the Action Coalition on Human Trafficking Alberta – has arisen in response to this violation of basic human rights.”
A Refreshed Website
Moving ACT Alberta to a modern WordPress website.
ACT Alberta has been our client for quite some time, and earlier this year we both agreed it was time for a site refresh. We moved them to a WordPress so that their website looks modern, and so that future updates will be more simple.
There is an abundance of important information packed into the ACT Alberta website. We had to keep this in mind when deciding to update, and feel it turned out well. The updated website is responsive, so that people in need can access the information on any device they have. The resource centre is also a lot more usable, so that information can be found more easily and quickly.
